Nov. 18 - A son, Stanley, is born to Archibald and Violet (Haines) Colp.
(Stanley and his wife, Vivian Veinot, will raise a family of three. Vivian dies in 2011. Stanley dies of liver cancer on Sept. 17, 2012, just two months short of his 87th birthday.)
