Feb. 14 - Jacob Colp, 36, marries Ida Newcomb, 21, at the Presbyterian parsonage in Bridgewater. He is the son of Henry Colp and Mary Ann Wamboldt. She is the daughter of William Newcomb and Drusilla Cook, Newcombville.

Settler Henry Colp has passed away.
His 38-year-old son, Jacob, and his wife, Ida Newcomb, 22,
now work the farm. They live with Henry's widow, Mary Ann,
who is now 66, and the youngest son, Maynard, 24.
Fifteen-year-old Artemus Dorey lives here as well and
works the farm.

Fancy
On the Fancy farm, Philip, 48, and his wife 40-year-old
Olivia Baker are raising their eight children.  These include:
